The Weeping Woman is an opera about the torturous love affair between Pablo Picasso and Surrealist painter and photographer Dora Maar. I wrote the libretto in collaboration with composer Michael Dilthey, and The Weeping Woman was presented at MASS MoCA in August 2019. Directed by JeremyWinchester, the cast featured Erin Nafziger as Dora, Paul La Rosa as Picasso, Julie Rumbold as Marie-Therese, and Joshua Gurwitz as Sabartes.

The Chancers! is my first full-length play and is the story of a theatre production of a play about the doomed love affair between Charles Stewart Parnell and Katherine O'Shea, which is also entitled The Chancers! My director, Wayne Maugans, and I presented a staged reading of The Chancers! at The Players Club on June 9, 2016! The cast featured Joie Bauer, Todd Conner, Rebecca Dooley, Peter Husovsky, Tom Kemnitz Jr, Paul Martin Kovic, G.V. Maldonado, Jaye Maynard, Kevin Urban, and Debra Whitfield. Michael Dilthey composed the play's theme song, "Come Back to Me."

My Way of Life is a musical adaptation of George Bernard Shaw's play, Mrs. Warren's Profession. I wrote the lyrics and adapted the book in collaboration with composer Michael Dilthey. We previewed a selection of songs from My Way of Life at Ripley-Grier Studios in Manhattan in November 2015. Michael's production company, Greylock Opera Company, has slated concert performances of My Way of Life at MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA, and at The Players in NYC in February 2022.

Light from the Pleiades is my second full-length play, and it's a love story set in Wisconsin that takes place over a period of 30 years. I directed an Equity Staged Reading at The Players on November 15, 2019, with a cast that featured Spencer Aste, Rebecca Dooley, Kirsten Dwyer, Ms. Jaye Maynard, Elana Safar, and Pilar Witherspoon as Deirdre. Michael Dilthey composed the play's theme song, "The Long Road Home."

In February and March 2021, I directed two Zoom readings of Light from the Pleiades for English Theatre Dusseldorf. The cast featured Gizza Elizondo, Vanessa Hartman, Jaye Maynard, Ilya Parenteau, Rosie Thorpe, and Tom Zahner.

On April 19, 2021, The Broadway Book Club presented a reading of an excerpt from Light from the Pleiades, with a cast that included Ademide Akintolo, Ry Armstrong, Dorothea Gloria, and Kira Player. This excerpt may be viewed at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVkbUyIEC30

Light from the Pleiades is under consideration for a full production by English Theatre Dusseldorf and the Hamburg Players.
